How to talk about volcano eruption?

(After missing my flight ) I was reflecting about how to talk about volcano eruptions in Lakota. The NLD Dictionary contains the word "volcano" (ȟeíle), but I didn't found any example sentence or verb for "to erupt". How, in lakota, we can describe the activity of makȟóȟloka mniwósli (ǧeysers) or volcanos?
For example, how we will say "The volcano ERUPTED" or "he has been SPEWING clouds of ashes"???.
It would be interesting to insert this words in the NLD.

Here is my attempt :

Ȟeíče kiŋ iglúȟičiŋ na opʼó waŋ otȟáwatʼešilya tȟaǧóše. > The volcano woke up and spat a huge cloud of dust.

Ȟeíče kiŋ iglúȟičiŋ na líla čhatá otá waŋkáyeye. > The volcano woke up and threw high a lot of ashes up.


I am far from being a fluent speaker. I am just a beginner and I don't know which sentence is the best (or the least bad).

A volcano erupted (lit. A volcano made itself pushed out abruptly.)
