A spammer attack

Today there was a spammer attack on our forum. While trying to ban the spammer an administrative error occurred and temporarily banned all users. If you received an e-mail about being banned, please disregard it.
Everything should be back to normal now.

This is great news! The slow performance of the server has been frustrating, and the frequent occurrence of error messages whilst moving around in the forum must also have been quite frightening for a lot of members (it certainly scared me when it started happening!).
