Hi,
Today we have many women in what were traditionally a man's profession.
If we are talking about a woman who is a doctor, what word would we use?
Would it be wašíču wakȟáŋ wiŋ? Would one leave it as wašíču wakȟáŋ and the context would be understood
it was a woman?
What about wapási wičháša? How would we say that if the detective was a woman?
Would one say wapási wíŋyaŋ or again, leave it as wapási wičháša and the context would be understood it was a woman?
I am a bit confused about this.
Thanks,
Nancy
